“A” Day

News from the Cafeteria: For lunch—Pork or beef nachos, leafy green salad, raw veggie sticks, fruit cocktail & fresh fruit. Also, in case you didn’t already know it, there is also a deli line with an available microwave in the Large Café and a pizza line with an available microwave in the Small Café for you to use.

Student Council is excited to share the details of Homecoming Week, starting with Monday with PAJAMA DAY. We are looking forward to hosting our traditional events and what we know will be a spirited week as all four grades compete for the Golden Eagle.

Attention FRESHMEN! Link Crew is sponsoring a FREE freshman picnic before the homecoming football game on September 23. Meet us under the windmill for FREE hotdogs, chips, and drinks from 1pm-3pm. We will have food, fun and games. Don't miss out on this awesome high school experience!

FRESHMEN!! Mrs. Parent and members of the Homecoming Committee will be in the Large Cafeteria at all three lunches TODAY and Monday. Stop by to decorate your own piece of our homecoming hallway!!

Attention IHS: Do you need dinner plans for Tuesday? The Junior Class has a tasty idea! Please come out to Chipotle in Irondequoit to participate in our fundraiser. For online orders, see hallway posters for the code or bring the flyer for in-restaurant orders. Your support will help the Junior Class arrange transportation to Prom for those who need it. Thanks!

Games Club is looking for new members! We meet on Fridays at 3:00 until 4:15 in Room 2000. We play board games, card games and roleplaying games based on member interest. Starting this Friday., Sept. 15. See Mrs. Wolf (Rm 2065) or Mrs. Johnson (Rm 2000) for more details.

Hello Class 2026! Homecoming shirts will be available before and after school TODAY in Room 1220! If you didn't order one, Ms. Jaynes has a few large shirts to sell. $16 cash (exact change please) or check made out to IHS Class 2026.

Jostens is currently running a deal on personalization also-details on-line at jostensyearbooks.com. Seniors, make sure to submit your senior photo on-line to Jostens by Friday, November 10. Looking for ways to add value to your resumé and give back to your community? Applications are now open for the popular Medical Pathfinder Volunteer Program at Rochester General Hospital - Stop in to see how to register.
